Hi members,
We’re sorry to say, the vacation has ended.. time to get back to the old routine job, routine life.. but hope you all had fun and had lots of good memories.. well here we are to refresh your memories of the events in the future.
1. The PHOTO CONTEST 2009 theme : Portrait of Life.
Last submission is 30th september, the winner photos may have the chance to be exhibited at UN (current main organizer is UN Photo club).
2. Those who are photosuisse members, should prepare the color photos by the end of september, for printing or digital format. (last submission to cessy 1st october)
One more announcement :
Show us your holiday pic ! Members are very much welcome to show where they spent their summer or vacation. Maximum 8 photos per memeber, in digital or prints. Or.. if you didn’t go) anywhere and was simply esperimenting with your camera, come show that as well ! Don’t be shy and share them with us !
Fundraising Event for Uganda
FUNDRAISING EVENT.
Raising Hope in Uganda!
Join us in Geneva (Old Town) – June 23
Fellow Photographers,
I hope you will join this event next Tuesday, 23rd of June to raise funds for this worthy cause. Wine and cheese will be served at the Galerie Mimesis at the Old Town with photos of the Uganda Village, that is the bebeficiary of this event, on display for sale. 100% of the event proceeds will go to this community centre in Uganda.

World’s Largest Photography Project Ever
Hi there,
We have had a few photographers and clubs suggest I contact other photography clubs and professionals in your country also and see if you could assist us in inviting your friends, your club members or readers to be part of the Largest Photography Project ever to be undertaken.
Project “Once Click One Pic”

Don’t forget to let others know about the project too. Share this information on Facebook, Youtube, Gmail, MySpace and all other networks. Anyone that can shoot across a boarder into a neighbouring country (only if its free for you to do so) would be helpful also. This way we can get even more coverage.
Also if you have a logo please send it to us so we can add you to our “Heapformation” page as a supporter of the project.
If you are a professional photographer or club and wish us to put your logo up on our site please send it to us with your link. Would love to promote you as well.
One last thing to which is really cool. I have received confirmation from SPOT Imaging Services who own 3 satellites – SPOT 2, SPOT 4 and SPOT 5 and have graciously offered to take a photo from up there for us.
We are also looking for people to help me make this project a success, so if your interested please let me know.
